    A regular in the 3rd Eleven for a number of years now - even though he is only eighteen! Will be given further opportunities in the seconds this season to develop his game at the top of the order. More than capable of getting big runs in the seconds.     The Southerner has been at the club for a couple of seasons now, very much a veteran of second eleven cricket, even though he is only in his twenties! Capable of winning games single-handedly, Rob bowls at a pace suited to English conditions. Unlucky not to be given a run in the first eleven, however with a consistent number of performances will surely challenge in 2014.

    Resident ‘Twelfth Man’ for the 20/20’s. Tom came to prominence by taking a spectacular catch when sub-fielding in his first taste of fist eleven cricket. Very much one for the future with both bat and ball. A left arm spinner with a great bowling action - Tom needs to continue working hard at his game and he will surely make an impact in the two’s this season.

    A regular in the 3rds last season and should be pushing for a regular 2nd team spot. A medium pace bowler who has great accuracy and probably didn’t get as many wickets as he deserved last season. Shows fantastic commitment and always attends training.

    Elegant opening bowler who consistently manages to unnerve / amuse his opponents with his variety of deliveries and intimidating manner. A swashbuckling batsman with no regard for his averages or any set style, john prefers to bat lower down the order to reduce wear on his bat and to avoid running between the wickets.     Very much one for the future, Brad has a great technique and has been recognised with Lancashire Representative cricket in 2013. Will certainly be pushed in 2014 by the coaches at the club and will balance this out with donning the wicket-keeping gloves.

    New recruit for 2014 who came highly recommended by club captain Robert Read. Has impressed his team mates with insight into the game on and off the field. Has raised the bar in relation to forward defensive technique and is talked of as an exciting player and potential Ramsbottom legend in the making. Combines his playing duties with role as club social secretary.
