Rammy Juniors make a clean sweep

Following in the footsteps of the senior teams, Rammy Juniors all made a winning start to the season in their league games.

Ramsbottom Junior Foundation 

On Monday 29th, our U13s overcame last year’s East Division Winners Rochdale by 53 runs. Rammy set the visitors 120 to win off their 20 overs, with 30 retired not out from Isaac T and Harry B. George L also posting a useful 24. Rochdale were all out for 66 with Isaac T taking the last wickets to claim Player of the Match. 

On Weds 1st, our U11s best a strong visiting Elton team by 32 runs. With 3 debutants in the team, this was a massive result. Stand out batting from Louis A-R with 18, Sonny M with 15, Harry C with 14 and Zach R with 10no. Harry C claimed 4 wickets and Evie took one as well. 

On the same night our U15s “Rammyfield” team beat Euxton by 7 wickets. Euxton batter first and were pegged back to 80-7 off their 20 overs with Oliver C taking 3 for 18. Toby A scored a patient 18 to bat us into a winning position with Ed T (24 no). 

And finally, to make it a clean sweep for the week, our U9s beat Woodbank and tied with Greenmount in their first games of the season, on bank holiday Monday.
